June 5, 2012. Today, if you looked really closely at the sun, you could see Venus’ shadow blocking a bit of the light. This won’t happen again for another 100+ years! I didn’t know this fun fact til after the sun set, but we celebrated anyway at an aptly named rooftop patio bar.
